The CR-17 system is a unique product that offers unparalleled versatility for all imaging environments. Compact enough for desktop use and rugged enough to be operated from the back of any vehicle, the CR-17 gives clinics, medical and veterinary offices access to fast, high quality DICOM computed radiography imaging at an affordable price.  The CR-17 comes complete with mini-PACS software to facilitate ease of archiving, accessing and handling up to 30,000 images. 

The single top service problem with most fully automatic CR systems is the automatic cassette feed mechanism.  To automatically load an imaging plate, the CR system has to accept the cassette, open it, read the imaging plate, close the cassette, and eject the cassette.  The CR-17 eliminates many of those steps that can cause service problems.  The operator can open the CR-17 cover, easily load the imaging plate, and close the cover.  When finished reading the imaging plate, the operator opens the CR-17 cover to remove the imaging plate.  Simple!  Eliminate service calls in the future for jammed cassettes by choosing the CR-17.
