Functional Practicality

Busy vet practices need equipment to be space efficient, easily cleaned, durable and quick to set up with the minimum of training. The S40M and S50Mmeet these requirements through sensible but innovative design. With hygiene a top priority, the S40M and S50M have been carefully designed to make cleaning as easy as possible. The lower half of the cabinets and doors are removable allowing them to be scrubbed and immersed. It is also easy to wipe clean the mirror finish of the ABS plastic upper cabinet and the fan guard is simply detached to allow access to clean the fan. Even the heater is encased in a metal tube making cleaning easy. The control circuit is housed away from the chamber for reliability.

Additional features of the S40M and S50M Versions

The medical (‘M’) versions of the S40 and S50 have a number of additional features which make them more flexible and better suited to veterinary applications:

1. Oxygen compatibility: The M versions are fitted with an oxygen connector and can be safely operated with increased oxygen concentrations to aid recovery.

2. Drugs can be conveniently administered to the patient using the supplied medicine reservoir connected to your nebuliser pump (suitable nebuliser pumps are available from your Vetario distributor).

3. Observation of patients is aided by a switchable internal light which safely illuminates the chamber interior.

4. The control system includes audible and visual warning of temperature fluctuations outside user-defined limits. The alarm is also triggered by power failure; once power is restored it will warn that control has been lost while power was off.

5. The digital display shows the humidity level as well as temperature within the chamber.
The optional EX Humidity Pump can be fitted to provide fully automatic humidity control if required.

Humidity Pump

Specifically designed to work seamlessly with the new Vetario S40M and S50M animal intensive care units, this optional humidity pump includes a peristaltic pump and an external water reservoir which eliminates the chances of water in the intensive care unit harboring bacteria.

The unit stands beside the S40M or S50M animal intensive care unit and is connected to it by an electrical lead and a flexible tube for water supply.

Humidity settings are controlled directly from the intensive care intuitive digital menu and the achieved Relative Humidity (RH) is continuously shown on the S40M or S50M animal intensive care unit digital display.

The S40M or S50M Animal Intensive Care Units coupled with the Humidity Pump effectively maintains the humidity level precisely at the level the user sets irrespective of changes in room humidity and so overcomes problems that can commonly lead to dehydration.

Dri-Dek Flooring

The Dri-Dek Flooring option for the Vetario ICU helps keep the animals drier, cleaner, and more comfortable. Dri-Dek's unique elevated flow-through design drains liquids and circulates air to dry moisture that has flowed through the flooring. In addition, the Dri-Dek Flooring is packed with animal-safe oxy-B1 anti-bacterial agents to help fight against mold, mildew, bacteria and infections.

Available in an almond color in 2 sizes to fit the S40 and S50 models.
